Personal Data Retention & Sharing Policy
In compliance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018, we collect and retain personal data only where it is lawful, necessary, and proportionate for the purposes of issuing and administering notices or related enforcement actions. The retention periods for specific notice types are as follows:
Parking Charge Notice (Notice to Driver):
Retained for 31 days after the date of settlement.Parking Charge Notice (Notice to Keeper or Hirer):
Retained for 2 years after the date of issue, in line with DVLA data retention requirements.Vehicle Release Fee (VRF):
Retained for 24 hours after the date of issue. Please note: DVLA keeper details are not requested for VRF notices.Fixed Penalty Notice (Vehicle-related):
Retained for 2 years after the date of issue, in accordance with DVLA legal requirements.Fixed Penalty Notice (Non-vehicle-related):
Retained for 99 days after the date of settlement.- PCN, FPN or VRF Search:
No data is kept or stored for searches.
All personal data is stored securely and is deleted or anonymised once the applicable retention period has expired, unless we are legally obliged to retain it for longer.
We will never sell, rent, or share personal data with third parties for marketing or commercial purposes.
Data may only be shared with:
Law enforcement agencies or
Government bodies where required by law, a court order, or a legitimate legal obligation (e.g., in relation to fraud prevention, crime investigation, or road traffic enforcement).
